​TechAnax was started specifically to provide our customers with services and solutions from a company with core values and work ethics reflecting integrity, trust, respect and accountability. We pride ourselves as a professional services firm providing customized information technology and management consulting solutions. TechAnax is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), member of Program Management Institute (PMI) and Microsoft Certified Partner. 

 

TechAnax was derived from the Greek words Techne, the Greek word for “art, skill, craft, or the way, manner, or means by which a thing is gained,” and the word Anax, which is an ancient Greek word for “(military) leader".  As a result of combining the two words to form TechAnax, creates the meaning and vision for us as a technology leader.

Program & Project Management - TechAnax delivers a proven program and project management methodology, based on industry best practices and standards established by the Project Management Institute (PMI).  Our methodology is based on S… T… A… M… P… (STAMP), Standardized processes, Tailorable tools and Agile methods for Managing Projects and programs.  TechAnax’s customizable methodology and process for ensuring the highest quality of program management and support services are delivered to our customers.

 

Enterprise and Process Assessments/Optimization - Nobody knows workflow demands better than the agency itself. We realize that, and have personally been working with customers for more than 20 years to deliver successful process and project management strategies. Reality and pressures to “get the job done” often force employees to adopt actions that differ from written procedures.  TechAnax ensure mission efficiency and safe/secure procedures are synchronized.

 

Strategic IT Planning - In today’s environment strategic planning has re-emerged as a force multiplier aligning business needs to IT systems as resources available continue to decline.  TechAnax can assist in planning data center consolidations, migration to the cloud, and the establishment of service level agreements to measure performance.

 

New Services Design and Implementation - It is important that there is a close correlation between operational needs and services provided.  Not only will we use STAMP to guide the design but we have strategic arrangements with partners to test new and emerging technologies and get to know how they work before we try and incorporate them into a customer’s environment.  By replicating an environment and practical evaluation, we can determine if we will meet requirements and if they are affordable and secure. TechAnax’s ISO 9001:2015 registered Quality Management System (QMS) provides the framework for our business processes including document controls, quality policies and objectives, management reviews, project management, audits, personnel training, control of non-conforming service, corrective and preventive actions, and especially continuous program improvement and customer satisfaction. The QMS also provides department-specific procedures and work instructions in the areas of recruiting; human resources; security, finance, and accounting; information technology; contract management; purchasing; and business development.

TechAnax’s ISO/IEC 27001:2013 registered Information Security Management System utilizes implemented processes that provide for maintaining and continually improving information security. This includes the requirements to assess and mitigate information security risks as tailored to the needs of the organization and project. Federal agency information systems are held to very high security standards and our solutions will ensure that security requirements are integrated into the SDLC as well as comply with all NIST 800 series guidelines for IT security.

TechAnax’s ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 registered Service Management System utilizes IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) process guidelines to manage the service life cycle including Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation, and Continual Service Improvement. The ITIL IT service management framework directs IT services to align with customer business needs and makes sure all development, transition, and maintenance requirements are met.

TechAnax maintains and has been appraised for CMMI-DEV ML3  and CMMI-SVC ML3.  TechAnax maintains a CMMI DEV and SVC Level 3 system with documented and approved software development and services procedures that direct practices for process management, project management, and systems engineering, development and support. Our Agile software development practices promote quick response to changing environments, changes in user requirements, accelerated project deadlines and a proven success driven solution that enhances our service delivery model as well.

TechAnax is the first small business to be certified to the Open Trusted Technology Provider™ Standard (O-TTPS) ISO/IEC 20243:2018 through The Open Group O-TTPS Certification Program for Mitigating Maliciously Tainted and Counterfeit Products. The O-TTPS certification program is one of the first programs aimed at assuring both the integrity of information technology products and the security of their supply chains. The conformance requirements are tailored specifically to technology providers to help reduce the risk of malware-enabled or malware-capable and counterfeit components from making their way into customers’ operating environments.
